Well, Reston took forever to get my results to Georgetown, but the news seems good. Havn't spoken to anyone in detail, but the Good Witch (Katherine my nurse practitioner) says everything looks stable, which for me is great. It means no treatments or biopsy for now. I need to call her back to discuss my next step, but for now it's all good. I am tired and ache in a few places but compared to the alternative, I can deal with it. I don't know why it never crossed my mind that cancer could hurt. It just seemed like something you got and then your body stopped working. I guess to the person who has it, it isn't so invisible. My biggest worry at this point is that it is almost mosquito season. Who would know that bug bites would be my worst symptom. Any of you who have listened to me whine the last 2 summers, or seen how scarred up my legs are will know what I'm in for again this summer. I guess the difference this year will be that I won't be so worried about putting bug spray or DEET on my skin. I wouldn't do it before because I was afraid the chemicals were bad for me, maybe even cause cancer! This year, I am out for revenge... wish those mosquitos could catch lymphoma from biting me. That would show them.
Anyway, not much to report thank goodness. Thank all of you who have been thinking of me and praying for me. It is the best medicine for me. Love, Julie

I'm so glad you decided on Georgetown. It's absolutely ridiculous that Reston would take so long to send your results.
Make sure you rest when you can. We need to find you a bug spray that works!
